Terms of sale

1. Who we are

These terms apply to machines and parts sold by Sweep New Zealand ("we", "us"). You can contact us at sales@sweepnewzealand.co.nz or 027 312 8458.

2. Prices and orders

1. All prices are in New Zealand dollars and exclude GST unless stated. GST is added to your invoice.
2. Freight is not included in the machine price. We will quote freight to your site before you pay.
3. An order sent through our website is a request. It becomes a binding sale once we confirm it in writing and send you an invoice.
4. If stock is not available, we will tell you the expected arrival date. You can then choose to wait or cancel with no cost.

3. Payment

1. Payment in full is required before delivery.
2. Payment is by bank transfer to the account shown on your invoice. Please use your invoice number as the reference.
3. The machine remains our property until we have received payment in full.

4. Delivery

1. Once payment has cleared, we will arrange delivery to the address on your order and agree a delivery date with you.
2. Please make sure there is safe access for unloading. A ride-on sweeper weighs about 310 kg.
3. Delivery dates are estimates. We will keep you updated if anything changes.
4. Risk passes to you once the machine is delivered.

5. Returns (30 days)

1. You can return a machine within 30 days of delivery.
2. The machine must be in the same condition as when delivered, apart from reasonable use while you tried it, and must be returned with its charger, spare parts and paperwork.
3. Please contact us before returning a machine so we can arrange collection. Return freight is at your cost unless the machine is faulty.
4. Once we have received and checked the machine, we will refund the purchase price within 10 working days.
5. If the machine has damage beyond normal use, we may deduct the reasonable cost of repair from your refund. We will talk to you first.

6. Warranty (12 months)

1. Every new machine is covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of delivery against faults in materials and workmanship.
2. If a fault is covered, we will repair or replace the faulty part, or the machine, at no cost to you.
3. The warranty does not cover normal wear parts such as brushes, filters and rubber skirts, or damage from misuse, accidents, lack of servicing, or repairs by anyone we have not approved.
4. To make a claim, email admin@sweepnewzealand.co.nz with your machine's serial number, a description of the problem and photos if possible.

7. Parts

1. Parts orders are confirmed by email with freight before payment.
2. Unused parts in original packaging can be returned within 30 days.

8. Your rights under New Zealand law

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 where those Acts apply. If you are buying for business purposes, you agree that the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply, to the extent the law allows.

9. Privacy

When you fill in a form on our website, we collect your name, contact details, business details and address. We only use them to reply to you, process your order, deliver your machine and support you afterwards. We do not sell or share your details with anyone except as needed to deliver your order (for example, a freight company). You can ask to see or correct your details at any time by emailing admin@sweepnewzealand.co.nz.
